gvSIG Desktop coupled with the Sextante plugin fulfils the bulk of the company's geospatial requirements.
gvSIG is a valuable and useful geospatial tool that allows a user to readily import and reproject historic data sets, readily create new data sets and conduct a wide range of geospatial analyses. The program also provides basic cartographic functionality that allows data to be printed directly to a printer, exported to postscript or exported to a PDF. The intuitive user interface makes this package very easy to use.
